Information submitted for scans
When you run a scan, the token contract address or URL you submit is sent to the Hoodspector server function so that it can request public blockchain data. Token addresses and blockchain records are public information.
Technical information
Our hosting provider and infrastructure providers may process technical data such as IP address, browser type, request time, error logs and security information. This information may be needed to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service.
Local browser storage
The current website stores your recent scan history in your browser using local storage. This history remains on your device and can be cleared with the “Clear history” button or your browser settings. Hoodspector does not use that local history to identify you.
Accounts, wallets and payments
The current scanner does not require an account, request a wallet seed phrase, hold customer funds or process payments. Never submit a private key or seed phrase to Hoodspector or any scanner.
Third-party data services
Requests may use Robinhood Chain RPC services, Blockscout, DEX Screener, RDAP registry services, the X API when configured, supported decentralised exchange contracts and hosting infrastructure. Their own privacy terms may apply. Linked project websites may be requested by the server for reachability and token-identity checks. Google Fonts may receive limited technical request data when fonts are loaded from Google’s servers.
Cookies
The current website does not intentionally place advertising or tracking cookies. Hosting or security providers may use essential technical mechanisms. This policy should be updated before adding analytics, advertising, accounts or marketing tools.
Retention and security
Server and security logs may be retained by service providers according to their operational policies. Reasonable steps are taken to protect the service, but internet transmission and storage cannot be guaranteed completely secure.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights concerning personal data, including access, correction, deletion or objection. Hoodspector will provide an appropriate contact channel before collecting account or customer information.
